NC law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address and job title or profession and name of employer or employer's specific field for each individual whose contributions in aggregate exceed $50 in an election cycle. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Under North Carolina law lobbyists may not contribute to a state campaign.
