Kari Smith

Kari Smith is a passionate advocate for Christian adoption and unplanned pregnancy outreach. For the past ten years, she has served with Lutheran Family Service, walking alongside hundreds of women facing unplanned pregnancies and families pursuing adoption throughout Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, and South Dakota. Her work is rooted in compassion, faith, and a commitment to helping families navigate the adoption journey with confidence and hope.

Kari is a graduate of Concordia University, Nebraska, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a master's degree from Western Illinois University. Before transitioning into adoption ministry, she spent five years as an elementary educator, developing a heart for supporting children and families.

Kari and her husband, Roby, are the proud parents of four children, who are among her greatest blessings and daily inspiration. Through both her professional work and personal life, Kari is dedicated to serving others with grace and encouragement.
