The maximum contribution an individual may make to the Patrick Wiesner for U.S. Senate Committee is $5,200 ($2,600 to the primary election and $2,600 to the general election). A multicandidate federal PAC may contribute up to $10,000 ($5,000 to the primary election; $5,000 to the general election). Please be advised that donors to the Patrick Wiesner for U.S. Senate Committee are subject to the federal laws limiting the amounts individuals or multicandidate federal PACs (as applicable) can donate to the Patrick Wiesner for U.S. Senate Committee. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. No corporate checks or corporate credit cards may be accepted. Partnership and LLC contributions may be accepted under certain guidelines.
To comply with Federal law, we must use our best efforts to obtain, maintain, and submit the name, mailing address, occupation and name of iployer of individuals who contributions exceed $200 per calendar year.
Contributions or gifts to the Patrick Wiesner for U.S. Senate Committee are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.
Federal Election Law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.
Contributions to Wiesner for Senate, Inc. are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions will be used to pay for federal election expenditures and subject to restrictions and disclosure requirements imposed by federal law. An individual may contribute not more than $2,800 for each (the primary and general) election ($5,400 total). Contributions from corporations, unions, foreign nationals, federal government contractors, federally-chartered entities are not permitted. Federal law requires Wiesner for Senate, Inc. to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and employer of each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in the two-year federal election cycle.
