The Walton Standard

Walton for Vermont does not run a conventional political fundraising operation.

We accept one contribution amount: $250.

By submitting this contribution, I certify and agree that:

  • I am an individual currently residing in Vermont.
  • This is my only contribution to Walton for Vermont during the 2026 election cycle.
  • I understand that Walton for Vermont voluntarily limits each contributor to one contribution of exactly $250.
  • I am a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident.
  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I am making this contribution knowingly and voluntarily.
  • I am contributing my own personal funds.
  • No other person or organization has provided or will reimburse me for this contribution.
  • I am not making this contribution on behalf of a corporation, labor organization, political committee, partnership, LLC or other entity.
  • I am not a federal government contractor prohibited from making federal political contributions.
  • The name, residential address, occupation and employer information I provided is complete and accurate.

Walton for Vermont accepts no contributions from PACs, political parties, corporations, labor organizations, partnerships, LLCs or other entities. We accept no contributions from outside Vermont. We use no recurring charges and accept no contribution greater or smaller than $250.

One Vermonter. One contribution. No political investor class.

Federal law requires Walton for Vermont to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an election cycle.

Contributions are not tax deductible. Walton for Vermont reserves the right to reject or refund any contribution that violates federal law or the campaign’s voluntary contribution standards.

Contribution Rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.


Contributions or gifts are not tax deductible


The maximum amount an individual may contribute is $3,500 per election. Your contribution (up to $3,500) will be designated for the primary election. The next $3,500 will be designated for the general election.


Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $200 in an election cycle.
