Contributions for debt retirement are limited to $3,300 and are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Individuals and PACs without Mega PAC status may contribute up to $3,300. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals without green cards are prohibited. The $3,300 limit includes any previous donations to Kern for Congress. Federal law requires Kern for Congress to request identifying information from each contributor, and to make its best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and employer of any individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 during an election cycle.
