URGENT UPDATE: WE HAVE THEM ON THE ROPES!

After we took them to court, the City realized that we were right, and the recall has been allowed to move forward.

However, they are still TRYING TO DELAY THE RECALL ELECTION and must be stopped immediately!

We are winning! But we can't stop now. We HAVE to get it on the November 3rd ballot (if not sooner). But the City wants to reset the clock to try and delay the election till at least May.

This direct violation of our City Charter WILL NOT STAND!

Without donations TODAY we will not be able to afford the legal filing to request the judge to order the recall be added to the November 3rd ballot.

How did we get here?

More than 1,300 citizens signed each of five recall petitions.

Those petitions were submitted to the City of Granbury.

And on July 28, the City rejected them.

We did NOT give up!

On August 12th we filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus, asking an appellate court to require the City to follow the recall process established by the Granbury City Charter and Texas law.
