The 2026 Keys to Democracy Awards Dinner

Sunday, March 22 at 5:30 – 8:30 pm Eastern Time

We hope you can join us on Sunday, March 22nd, for the Trumbull Democratic Town Committee's annual Keys to Democracy Awards Dinner. This will be our tenth year celebrating democracy, honoring volunteers and leaders in our community, recognizing young people who are dedicating themselves to public service and raising funds to support our local, state, and national candidates.

Event Highlights:

  • 5:30pm Cocktail Hour with Hors d'oeuvres & Food Stations: Mix and mingle with fellow Democrats and local, state and federal elected officials. Meet our Keynote Speaker, Jeff Clements.
  • 6:30pm Main Program:
    • Welcome from Our Chairwoman: Ashley Gaudino
    • Comments from our First Selectwoman: Vicki Tesoro
    • Presentation of Awards:
      • TDTC Keys to Democracy Award(s)
      • The Kevin J. Sutherland Inspiration in Democracy Award
    • Keynote Speech: Jeff Clements, co-founder and CEO of American Promise. Jeff will focus on the problem of dark money corrupting our democracy and what we can do about it. There really is a solution!
    • Food Stations Open Throughout
  • Dessert
  • Cash Bar
