A lifelong Plant City resident, Tony B. Smith has dedicated his life to service. From Lincoln Elementary to Plant City High, and later as a scholarship athlete at Clark Atlanta University, Tony’s roots in this community run deep. In 2018, he founded M.A.T.E.S., a health and wellness initiative that provided vital support to local families, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tony now serves on the Plant City Board of Adjustment, applying zoning regulations with fairness and transparency. A proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and recipient of the Jeremiah Bailey Community Activist Award, Tony has long been committed to lifting up Plant City families.
