Communist China has threatened to ban the continued export of essential components needed to manufacture hundreds of the medications Americans depend on. This would include medications they manufacture for the US market including pain relievers, blood thinners, blood pressure medications and a vast number of others. China’s state-run media warned that in the event of a ban “the United States will be caught in an ocean of viruses."
We must act now to recruit thousands of Americans to create awareness of this issue and to sign our petition supporting a new bill introduced by Senator Tom Cotton and Congressman Mike Gallagher.
This passage of this bill will begin the weaning process off Chinese manufacturing of our medications and will require medication labels to include country of origin. It also prohibits the US government from buying ingredients for medications from China and requires the FDA to track the point of origin of drugs and drug ingredients not made in the US.
Please chip in whatever you can below to help us recruit petition signers to flood the offices of US Senate and House leaders to pass this bill asap!
If you have not signed the petition already, you will be returned to the petition page after submitting the form below.
