Join us for a night of fun & funny money in support of our very own Apalachicola Veterans Memorial Plaza. All proceeds support our "Walking our Boys Home" fundraiser to pay for improving to the visitor experience at our plaza. Enjoy professional casino games, scrumptious food, beer, wine, and amazing prizes. Seating is limited.
What you can expect. Enter the event and look for the "Reception" table where your attendance can be confirmed from our list of sponsors & ticket purchasers. Each validated guest will receive a personalized cloth casino game bag that will contain a small event gift, a stub worth $500 dollars in casino chips, and two free Adult Beverage tickets. Any game dealer can supply your initial $500 in chips and be able to turn your chips into raffle tickets when you are ready. There will be fun quests during the night allowing you to win more game chips. if you need more drink tickets during the night, just visit the "Reception" table.
There is no reserved seating for this event. We encourage you to mingle, exploring the prize table, game tables, drinks table, and buffet table full of small plate nibbles. The dessert table will be opened with great fanfare later in the party. There is an assortment of shorter cocktail tables with chairs and several high boy pub tables with bar stools. We have even placed stools at the game tables for your comfort. Perch where you are most comfortable. Yes, the table centerpieces will be included in the prizes at the end of this event.
When gaming begins, the race is on! Players will have about 2 hours to win as many casino chips as possible. The first hour of play will go easy on beginners as the entertaining dealers get everyone up to speed. When you are ready, you can "cash" in your chips with your dealer. For each $500 in chips, you will receive one raffle ticket. Fill out and place your raffle ticket(s) in the single container located on the "Prize" table. When the game tables close (about 9 pm) and everyone has "cashed" out, the raffle can begin. It is first win, first choice. When your ticket is called and verified, you get to choose your prize from those remaining on the "Prize" table.
