"I was born and raised in Colorado and have spent my entire life exploring and enjoying Colorado's outdoors. After spending 28 years working at Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), primarily engaged with statewide volunteer and education programs, my passion for Colorado's state parks has only grown stronger. Through the varied environments and experiences that each park offers, anyone can find a park that meets their needs for physical, mental, spiritual, and/or educational growth. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend most of my life in this amazing state!"


What park are you raising money for? I'm setting a goal of raising $2500 For the whole system. Surveys and other data reflect that most Coloradans support Colorado's parks, recreation areas, and open spaces. However, people don't always speak up and/or lobby for funding efforts that will sustain these places forever. Due to the fact that CPW is no longer tax-funded, and revenue generation cannot fully support our state parks (if we want fees to remain affordable), Lottery/Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) funds are literally a lifeline to keeping our state parks open for public use. We need your help to continually be a voice in support of Colorado's parks and open spaces.


The Fund for Colorado will support youth exploring State Parks through the passport and backpack programs, help replace educational signs throughout the State Parks, and fund restoration projects and trail maintenance.
