"Our state parks are special to me because of the variety of opportunities that they provide for numerous quality outdoor recreation experiences. I can fly fish in my kayak in the morning, hike that same afternoon with family and friends then sit around a campfire that evening and spend the night in a rustic cabin-that's my favorite Colorado play day, enjoying a state park and all that nature has provided us ... Financially, our State Parks system has done an amazing job with the basic maintenance and operations of each park, but anything beyond the basics in just not available to provide such a lifetime of experiences."


What park are you raising money for? I have had the privilege of serving the public as an employee on a number of our State Parks over a 25+ year career. I will be raising funds for our entire amazing State Park system.


The Fund for Colorado will support youth exploring State parks through the passport and backpack programs, help replace educational signs throughout the State Parks, and fund restoration projects and trail maintenance.
