HOW WE SPEND THE DONATED MONEY:
100% of All Funds Go Directly to Suspend and Repeal Chapter 135, H4885. Every Dollar is reported to the State of MA Office of Campaign and Political Finance.
1. Legal Challenge to the Preamble:
We estimate that challenging the Emergency Preamble in court will cost $30,000 to $40,000. This legal battle is essential to ensuring the people’s right to participate in the referendum process. If we win and the State appeals the Win… it will cost $100K more.
2. Voter Outreach & Education:
Your contributions will fund statewide voter education efforts—including materials, public events, and direct outreach to inform voters about the law and its implications. It costs between $1.00 and $2.75 per Direct Mail Piece sent. If we sent 1 million mailers… there goes a quick $1 million dollars. We have to be smart!
3. Digital Campaign & Advertising:
We’ll invest in social media campaigns, online videos, and digital advertising to reach and engage voters across Massachusetts. This is 10% of the cost of direct mail.
4. Statewide Campaign Events:
Organizing rallies, public meetings, and community events will help us spread our message and build momentum leading up to the vote.
5. Administrative Costs:
To run a professional and effective campaign, we will need to hire a campaign manager to oversee all aspects of the operation. This position will ensure everything—from fundraising to public outreach—is managed efficiently and effectively.
