Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic our dedicated team of Client Services Specialists, Housing Counselors, Case Managers, and Mediators, along with our volunteer Housing Counselors, were able to provide more than $33 million in emergency rental assistance throughout Dane County to support the housing stability of over 20,000 people. At the same time we received over 260,000 calls in our call center for questions about how to keep people safely in their homes. While everyone has been dealing with the ongoing housing crisis, we were able to launch the Eviction Diversion and Defense Partnership which provides FREE legal representation for tenants in eviction court as well as financial assistance and a variety of other housing stability services - again ALL FREE of CHARGE!
