On March 6th, I rose to speak in the New Hampshire House of Representatives about Women's History Month and the silencing of women.
While I was speaking, Democrats rose to silence me.
I was speaking about how harmful it is to silence women, and they demanded a vote to allow me to continue speaking.
A man took to the microphone to say that his experience as a Women's History Professor meant that I should be silenced. Can you believe the irony?
Ultimately 8 brave Democrats joined with 163 Republicans to allow me to continue, overruling the 89 Democrats who voted to silence me. A woman. During Women's History Month. Speaking about women being silenced.
Will you support me to amplify my voice and help me reach more people in New Hampshire to ensure that women are no longer silenced and marginalized?
We can not stand silent and hope that leaders will protect our girls. Show your support today.
