2026 Summit County Republican Nominating Convention

The 2026 election cycle is officially here. Following our precinct caucuses, this Convention is the decisive moment where we, as a party, choose the standard-bearers who will fight for accountable, disciplined government in Summit County and the State of Utah.

This is not just a meeting—it is the official credentialing and nominating process for the Republican ticket. As we transition to the new 5-District County Council system, your participation as a delegate is the final gatekeeper for our local leadership.

What to Expect:

  • Official Nominations: We will hear from and move to advance our Republican candidates, including our unopposed candidate for County Clerk, Suni Woolstenhulme, as she prepares for the general election.
  • Party Business: Delegates will debate and vote on critical Constitutional Amendments to our party bylaws to ensure our organization remains transparent and effective.
  • Candidate Marketplace: Meet the candidates vying for your vote in contested state and local races.

Registration is FREE for all delegates and guests. Official credentialing and candidte meet and greet will begin at 5:30 with the convention business starting at 6:30. Please register in advance to expedite your check-in process on March 31.
