An individual may donate up to $4,700 for the General Election, $4,700 for the Republican Primary Election, and $4,700 for the Conservative Primary Election, for a total of $14,100.

Personal, PAC and Corporate contributions are acceptable and will be donated according to New York State election Law for the general election. Contributions from spouses do not count against this total. A corporation or LLC may contribute $5000 per calendar year to all local political candidates combined. Each affiliated or subsidiary corporation, if a separate legal entity, has its own limits. Contributions from LPs and LLCs are treated are no longer treated as individuals pursuant to NYS Election Law. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. An individual residing in the United States who possesses a green card may contribute. Contributions are not tax deductible.
