Shelton Republican Town Committee

The Mission of the Shelton Republican Town Committee

is to:

Encourage and elect able Republican citizens of the city of Shelton to public office;

Organize and conduct local Republican Party conventions, general election campaigns and fundraising events;

Promote the candidacies of Republicans at the state and national level;

Hold meetings on a regular schedule to conduct Republican Party business according to Connecticut State statutes, Republican State Party rules and Shelton RTC By-Laws;

Study and support or oppose State legislation affecting Shelton and its citizens;

Study and recommend improvements in the governing of the City of Shelton;

Be the face of the Republican Party at the local level;

Encourage, support and become affiliated with other Republican organizations and groups;

Sponsor and encourage constructive Republican Party activities.
