SLO County BBQ Dinner in Cambria

Join us to support Sonja Shaw's fight to Protect Our Children at a ranch BBQ in Cambria. Come hang out in a country music-filled barn, meet Sonja, and help save our kids' future!

Did you know that although California spends an average of $25,000 per student in public schools, 44 percent of 11th graders fail basic reading proficiency--and have you considered what that means for our future as a state? Did you know that public school counselors can help children as young as 12 check into youth shelters without their parents' knowledge if they are feeling rebellious? Did you know that if parents don't want to administer all the required vaccines--even with legitimate doctors' notes-- their kids are locked out of public and private school alike? Did you know that all public schools must distribute tampons in boys' restrooms, and that boys have a right to share girls' locker rooms and join girls' sports teams if they say they identify as a girl? Did you know our state has been suing school boards that don't go along with its anti-family and anti-child agenda? Did you know that the state is considering crackdowns on homeschooling now that parents are fleeing failing classrooms?

California's status quo shrugged off our kids' education a long time ago, with special interests pushing political activism and propaganda over learning -- and they're proud of it.

We've got to change things now, and Sonja is our opportunity as long as all parents of different politics and backgrounds link arms. Come meet her and learn more about the fight for our children. This is about kids, not politics!

  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.


Contributions or gifts are not tax deductible


The maximum amount an individual may contribute is $9800 per election. Your contribution (up to $9800) will be designated for the primary election. The next $9800 will be designated for the general election.


State law requires us to collect and report the name, physical address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $99 in an election cycle.
