Contributions to Seney for Congress are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Not printed at government expense. By law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $2,800 for the primary election and another $2,800 for the general election, for a total of $5,600 per person. A couple may contribute up to $5,600 for the primary and up to $5,600 for the general election on a joint bank account check. Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions from corporations, foreign nationals and federal government contractors are prohibited. Partnership checks are welcome, but please provide a written statement as to whom to attribute contributions.
