Join us for Beyond the Bin, a community-driven bulk recycling event to help keep Sandy Springs clean and green! 🌎♻️

✅ Accepted Items

Appliances

✔️ Washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, stovetops, dehumidifiers, and microwaves.

✔️ Refrigerators, freezers, residential A/C units, and wine coolers. (Items containing freon incur an additional fee)

Furniture

✔️ Coffee tables, end tables, nightstands, stools, dining chairs (should be in useable condition).

✔️ Metal/aluminum lawn and pool furniture.

✔️ Metal/aluminum office desks and chairs.

Bulky Metal Items

✔️ Grills, lawn mowers (fuel drained), file cabinets, scrap metal, aluminum canoes, boats, etc.

Bikes & Tools

✔️ Bikes in ANY condition

✔️ Hand tools and power tools

🚫 Items NOT Accepted

❌ Hazardous & Medical Waste: Medical waste, needles/sharps, ammunition, explosives, pharmaceuticals.

❌ Certain Household Items: Sports/exercise equipment, waterbeds, vacuum cleaners.

❌ Paints, Chemicals & Liquids: No paint, motor oil, anti-freeze, gasoline, propane, and fire extinguishers.

❌ Construction & Demolition Materials: No yard debris, household trash, carpets, rugs, linoleum, countertops, garage doors, shower doors, tubs, sinks, Jacuzzis, spa tubs.

❌ Large Bulk & Fragile Items: No glass, mirrors, box springs, mattresses (metal springs can be removed and recycled).

❌ Children’s Items & Miscellaneous: No baby items, toys, plastic pools.

❌ Lighting & Batteries: No incandescent or LED lights (only fluorescent lights accepted), no alkaline batteries.

❌Cell phones, computers (monitors and towers), computer accessories, CRT and LCD televisions.
