Friends, Family, and Fellow Community Members,
When I first announced my candidacy for the Cornelius Town Board of Commissioners, I shared my deep belief that Cornelius was at a crossroads — and that we needed leaders committed to managing growth, protecting quality of life, and building a strong future for our families.
Two years later, I am proud of what we’ve accomplished together. During my first term, I have worked hard to strengthen our town’s financial foundation, improve public safety, and invest in the infrastructure and amenities that make Cornelius such a special place to call home.
• We maintained strong financial reserves without raising taxes, while implementing a smart investment strategy that saves taxpayers money.
• We expanded public safety, funding the transition to a full-time fire department, improving emergency medical services, and installing new crosswalks to protect pedestrians.
• We advanced more road improvement projects than at any other time in our history, with more on the horizon.
• We supported parks, greenways, and recreation, expanding opportunities for families and preserving what makes Cornelius unique.
• We took meaningful steps to balance growth, slowing residential overdevelopment while encouraging smart commercial investment and launching a Downtown Master Plan to ensure a vibrant town center for years to come.
These accomplishments were possible because of the trust you placed in me — and because of our shared belief that Cornelius deserves thoughtful, accountable leadership. But our work isn’t finished.
As we look ahead, Cornelius will continue to face critical decisions about growth, infrastructure, and maintaining the small-town character that drew so many of us here. I am running for re-election to ensure that our community remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and neighbors feel safe and connected.
My family and I are grateful to call Cornelius home. With your support, I will continue working every day to protect our quality of life and secure a strong future for our town.
