Emergency - Stray Cat Needs Urgent Medical Care!

This cat was found by a good Samaritan this morning (April 18th 2026) and he put the call out for help. Shelters and rescues are all bursting at the seems in Florida right now, and most are unable to take on more strays - let alone stray cats with mange and scabies.

Penny’s is stepping in to get this sweet boy the urgent medical care he needs. He will be quarantined in a comfortable area while his mange (and likely secondary issues like skin infections) are treated. We have named him Fitzgerald, aka: Fitz.

After this 6-week treatment. Fitz will also need to get neutered, vaccinated, microchipped etc.

Penny’s is full, and we are self-funded - so, we desperately need help from the community to make sure this boy gets everything he needs to heal and live out his retirement with us. Please consider donating to his ongoing medical care.
