Contributions to Patrick Witt for Congress are not tax deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals. Under federal law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $2,900 per election ($5,800 per couple when donating from a jointly-owned account). Qualified federal PACs may contribute a maximum of $5,000 per election cycle. Contributions from corporations, foreign nationals (non-green card holders), federal government contractors, and minors are prohibited.
