My name is Oliver Bardwell, and I’m running for the Dallas County Board of Supervisors because I believe in protecting the values that make this county such a great place to live.
I’m a husband, father of six, and a builder by trade. For more than two decades I’ve built homes, businesses, and community right here in Dallas County. I owned and operated American Mini Storage in DeSoto for 15 years, coached youth soccer for nearly two decades, and served on local boards working to strengthen our communities.
Last year, I knocked on thousands of doors across Dallas County, listening directly to residents about the issues facing their families.
One message came through loud and clear:
Property taxes are too high, and families feel like they’re falling behind.
Dallas County is growing rapidly, and the decisions we make today will shape our future for generations.
We need leadership that will:
- Stand up for taxpayers
- Protect property rights
- Support law enforcement
- Preserve the character of the community we all love
That’s why I’m stepping up.
As your supervisor, I will fight to:
- Work to reduce the burden of rising property taxes
- Protect property rights
- Support law enforcement and public safety
- Promote responsible growth while preserving our rural character
