The Byrde’s Dance Scholarship Fund is proudly celebrating its seventh year of providing life-changing arts opportunities to children. The scholarship exists with the purpose of bringing the joy of dance to youth who, otherwise, would not have the chance to participate.

Every year, OMC organizes “Kick It Out,” a remarkable community outreach dance project that actively involves numerous children from across the city. This extensive project spans several months of dance classes, where school-aged youth receive training from professional dancers. The program culminates in a thrilling stage performance where these young talents get to showcase their skills alongside seasoned professionals.

We believe in the transformative power of the arts and the positive impact it can have on young lives. The Byrde’s Scholarship Fund enables us to reach out to underprivileged youth, giving them an opportunity to explore their artistic talents and develop their passion for dance.
