On Sunday, May 18th, tens of thousands of New Yorkers marched down Fifth Avenue in support of Israel. This parade has been a staple of New York City's calendar since 1964. In the wake of October 7th, this tradition carries even deeper significance.

We are grateful to everyone who marched—and especially thankful for the protection provided by New York’s Finest.

Over the past 18+ months, the New York Police Department has been a true friend to the Jewish community. Millions of Jews living in or visiting New York City have found comfort in their courage, professionalism, selflessness, and dedication.

The recent horrific murder of Israeli Embassy staff Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim in Washington, D.C., is a tragic reminder of the security threats Jewish communities across the country continue to face—and the critical role law enforcement plays to ensure our security.

Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $450,000 to support our city’s men and women in blue.

This year, we’re proud to announce our second annual fundraiser. The Paul E. Singer Foundation will match up to $200,000 in donations made or pledged to the New York City Police Foundation.
