Moving Pima County Forward

This year, Pima County has a measure on the ballot—Prop 425—to fix a 46-year-old formula that prevents the county from being able to use its full resources to provide services for county residents.

This measure would not increase the tax rate by a single penny. Instead, it allows Pima County to use already available funding on things like public safety and delivering affordable healthcare, including immunizations and heat mitigation through community health clinics. Among many other things, it will help the county address deteriorating roads, potholes, bridges, and other infrastructure before repairs become more expensive. County expenditures would continue to be publicly accountable and audited, and there will be an independent oversight committee.

Vote YES for the common-sense fix of Prop 425 on November 3rd.
