Senator Capito has been advancing conservative principles in the U.S. House and Senate for 25 years.

She is the first female senator in West Virginia's history. In both of her Senate elections, she won all 55 counties and was elected with the largest margin of victory for a Republican in state history, including more than 70% of the vote in 2020!

Senator Capito serves as chairman of both the Senate Republican Policy Committee and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. She also sits on the Appropriations and Commerce Committees.
