Virginia law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the following information from contributors -
Individuals: Name, mailing address, occupation (including student or retired), employer, place of employment and legal residency status of individuals whose contribution exceeds $100 in a calendar year.
Business or corporations: Legal entity name, mailing address, principal type of business, location of business.
Political committees: Legal entity name, mailing address, committee type, location of committee.
Federal law prohibits any political organization to accept contributions from a foreign national or foreign corporation.

- I am a U.S. Citizen or lawfully admitted resident with a valid green card, representative of a domestic corporation or political committee with the authority to donate on behalf of the entity.
- This contribution is made from my personal funds, or the corporate funds of a legal entity or political committee in the United States, and is not being reimbursed by another person or entity.
- In the case of political committees, I understand that unregistered, out of state political committees or Federal Political Action Committees are limited to contributing $10,000 to the Lynchburg FIREPAC in aggregate during a calendar year if they are not registered with the Virginia Department of Elections, and will provide proof of registration if I intend to donate more than $10,000 in aggregate during the calendar year.
We require corporations, businesses, and political committees to provide a point of contact name and email address for contributions.
Contributions to Lynchburg FIREPAC are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions from foreign nationals and foreign corporations are prohibited.
The Commonwealth of Virginia prohibits anonymous contributions to political committees, and the Lynchburg FIREPAC will make it’s best effort to collect the required information. If we are unable to obtain the required information, the contribution will be donated to any organization of our choosing described in §170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
