Having received nearly 51% of the vote, Katie Wilson is the first challenger to an incumbent mayor to have received a majority of votes since at least 1973, and one of the strongest results in Seattle history.

She achieved this result despite being outspent significantly due to independent expenditures funded by massive corporations that raised over $350,000 for Mayor Bruce Harrell in the primary.

Now, those same big monied interests have raised nearly $800,0000 to try and buy this election for Mayor Harrell.

This is event is a fundraiser for Katie Wilson for An Affordable Seattle, a people-powered PAC founded by everyday Seattleites and progressive organizations joining forces to stop the super-rich from buying the Seattle we all love. Our mission is to elect Katie Wilson and fight for a better future for everyone.

Let’s Prove Seattle is Not for Sale.
