Contributions are not deductible for tax purposes.
Contributions must comply with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act. Contributors may not be registered as a lobbyist with the State Ethics Commission. Contributions must not be owned, in whole or in part, by a regulated entity or public agency.
Maximum contribution allowed is $6,600 per individual, corporation, or PAC election cycle. Couples may give a combined contribution of $13,200 from a joint account for the Primary Election. The maximum an individual, corporation or PAC may contribute is $17,100 ($6,600 to be allocated to the Primary, $3,900 to the Primary Run-Off and $6,600 to the General elections). State law requires political committees (PACs) to report the name, mailing address and occupation of any person making a contribution of $101 or more in a reporting cycle. Only U.S. citizens or green card holders can contribute.
