Jasmine Rivera isn’t running to become a politician, she’s running to continue serving the community that has shaped her life.

As a North Miami Beach resident, Jasmine has built her life here alongside her husband, whose Haitian heritage reflects the rich cultural diversity that makes North Miami Beach so special. Proud of her Puerto Rican roots and deeply connected to the community she calls home, she understands that every neighborhood, every family, and every voice deserves to be heard and respected.

Professionally, Jasmine has spent her career inside municipal government, helping residents understand how their city works and ensuring they receive clear, timely, and transparent communication. She has coordinated community initiatives, supported major city projects, managed complex communications, and worked alongside departments across City Hall to help deliver services that improve everyday life.

That experience gives Jasmine something many candidates cannot offer: a firsthand understanding of how local government functions, where challenges arise, and how to bring people together to solve problems. She knows that effective leadership is built on listening first, communicating openly, and following through.

Jasmine believes residents deserve a commissioner who is accessible, prepared, and focused on results, not politics. Her campaign is grounded in transparent government, stronger neighborhoods, responsible infrastructure investment, safer communities, and a City Hall that listens, communicates, and responds.
