Maximum contribution for individuals, regular PACs, corporations and labor organizations is $2,500 per candidate per election. Maximum contribution for big PACs is $5,000 per candidate per election. The primary and general elections are considered as two separate elections. A candidate may accept contributions for the general election only if they advance to the general election and only after the primary election. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited by law. State law requires that we collect and report the name, address, occupation and employer of contributors. Donations are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax.
