Tell Secretary Kennedy:
It's Time to Help Those Injured by Covid Vaccines!
PETITION TO HHS SECRETARY ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR. TO RECONSIDER COVID-19 VACCINE INJURY REQUESTS FOR BENEFITS
To Secretary Kennedy:
We, the undersigned, call on you to exercise your authority pursuant to federal law to recognize, acknowledge, and compensate those who were injured by a Covid-19 vaccine and subsequently denied compensation by the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), whereby:
1. Due to the PREP Act immunity that continues to shield the Covid-19 vaccine manufacturers from liability, the only recourse for the injured is CICP;
2. CICP has denied 98.5% of Covid-related requests for benefits to date;
3. CICP is grossly underfunded with a budget of just $7 million for 2025 even though hundreds of millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered. Moreover, CICP spends 94% of its total costs on administration rather than compensation;
4. The identities of CICP program personnel and reconsideration panel members, who have been anonymously and harshly denying 98.5% of CICP Covid requests, have been withheld from the public, so there is no accountability;
5. People were injured because they followed the advice of the government, or complied with the mandates placed upon them, and got the vaccine;
6. Individuals injured by vaccines are just as important and real as those injured by infectious diseases;
7. A country that treats its vaccine-injured with callousness is a country that destroys all faith in public health;
8.Federal law 42 C.F.R. § 110.91 grants the Secretary of Health & Human Services full authority to “at any time, on [his] own motion or on application, review any determination made under” CICP and to “affirm, vacate, or modify the determination in any manner the Secretary deems appropriate.”
Many of these people supported you, Secretary Kennedy, for this very reason—to ensure we have a transparent government that protects its citizens. By signing below, we demand that you recognize, acknowledge, and compensate the individuals whose lives have been irrevocably and adversely impacted by a Covid-19 vaccine.
