9/11 was a defining moment for the world that showed the best of American resilience, unity and toughness. Join us on the 23rd anniversary of that fateful day to remember those we lost, unite as Americans, and support a new generation of independent veterans who are again answering the call to serve.

JD Vance and Tim Walz aren’t the only vets running for office this fall. There’s a deep and exciting crop of veterans running this fall—who aren’t Democrats or Republicans.

51% of all voters are independent (and 59% of veterans). On this defining date in our history, meet Independent Veterans of America (IVA) and join our Founder, 9/11 First Responder, Paul Rieckhoff, and special guests to meet the next generation of independent leaders and help get them elected.

We’ll gather blocks from Ground Zero at the famous watering hole of our Founding Fathers, where on December 4, 1783, George Washington (the original Independent veteran of America) gathered his officers, nine days after the last of the British troops left American soil, to thank them for their service and bid them an emotional farewell before returning home. Setting an example and providing a guiding spirit of service for us all.
