Sandpoint's sewer treatment plant is over 70 years old and requires immediate upgrades.

If voters reject the bond, all residents' sewer bills are likely to increase 600% over the next five years to pay for the upgrades.

If voters vote IN FAVOR, the City will be able to pay for much of the work through programs and loans, and sewer bills will increase about 106%.
