A group calling itself the Natural Medical Alliance of Idaho is circulating a petition to legalize the growing, processing, transportation, use, and sale of marijuana in Idaho.

Across the country, we’ve seen how states move from decriminalization…to medical marijuana…to full legalization with disastrous effects on their communities: increased crime, devastating health consequences, and increased drug use. Legalization has not reduced harm. It has expanded it.

This expansion is driven by a multi-billion-dollar industry focused on profits—not public health.

Idaho has an opportunity to choose a different path.
