DRIVE TO THRIVE: EMPOWERING REFUGEE WOMEN LIVING IN UTAH THROUGH MOBILITY

Without the ability to drive, refugee women often remain isolated, unable to access jobs, healthcare, community services, or their children's schools. This new program starting in Salt Lake City, Utah this year will help refugee women get their drivers license in three months through a culturally sensitive process allowing these women greater independence and economic opportunities.

The cost per participant is approximately $2,500 and that covers all instruction, translation services, testing fees, and transportation. For less than the price of a single month's groceries, your gift fully empowers one participant and gives them everything they need to cross the finish line.

The Drive to Thrive program is a structured driver’s education and empowerment initiative designed to support refugee women in Utah in gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to obtain a driver’s license, seek employment and even provide cars through charitable donations and organizational partnerships.

Hope for Her International seeks to raise $100,000 to sustain multiple cohorts of women in the Drive to Thrive program through 2027
