Tim Porta will be missed by so many. He was a “hotel kid” and followed in his parents’ footsteps with a wonderful life of hosting travelers and tourists all over. His vibrant and welcoming spirit was a perfect fit.

Unfortunately, his hearing was not a perfect fit. He struggled with severe hearing loss in his adult life. He adapted with hearing aids as best he could. It was not easy .

For Tim, it was not just about him. He generously supported public hearing technology efforts - especially at the Portland Stage Theater. He gave where he saw need..
