Contribution Rules
Law requires we ask for your employer and occupation. If you don't have an employer or are retired, put N/A, and if you are self-employed put "self-employed" in employer and describe your occupation
Federal Account
Contributors may give up to $10,000 per calendar year to the HCRP federal account (federal “multicandidate” committees are limited to $5,000). Contributions to the federal accounts of the Republican Party of Texas and other local Republican parties in Texas count against this same limit. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, foreign nationals (without a “green card”), federal government contractors, and national banks are prohibited.
State Account
Contributions made to the state account must be made with personal funds and are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. There are no contribution limits associated with the state account.
Corporate Account
Contributions to the corporate account may be made with corporate funds and are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. There are no contribution limits associated with the state account.
