JOIN US TO THE FIRST FUNDRAISING KICKOFF FOR HAMDI MOHAMED'S RUN FOR THE PORT OF SEATTLE COMMISSION, POSITION 3.
Hamdi Mohamed has lived and worked in King County for over 15 years. Hamdi is currently a policy advisor for the King County Executive Office of Equity and Social Justice and the former Deputy District Director for Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. If elected, Hamdi would be the first woman of color elected to the Port Commission, as well as the only commissioner from South King County. She is running for Port to advocate for working families and businesses most impacted by COVID-19.
As you know, the Port of Seattle will play a key role in recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic as one of our largest suppliers of jobs—more cargo crossing all our docks means more jobs and economic growth for the region. Hamdi is determined to create more living-wage job opportunities for all of our communities at the Port!
Please join us to hear about how you can support her during this port for the people campaign!
