Texas state law requires us to obtain and report the principal occupation or job title and full employer name of individuals whose contributions equal or exceed $500 in a reporting period.
Contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. You should receive a notification via email regarding your donation. Under Texas law, individuals, PACs, and certain partnerships and limited liability companies may contribute to political campaigns. Texas law does not limit the amount donors may contribute to a candidate. The Patterson Campaign may not accept contributions from corporations, labor organizations, or foreign nationals who have not been granted permanent residence in the United States. The prohibition on corporate contributions also applies to other organizations, such as partnerships and LLCs, if they are owned by a corporation or include an incorporated member or partner.
By using this form, you affirm that you are making this contribution via a personal credit or debit card for which you have a legal obligation to pay, and not through a corporate or business entity card or the card of another person. If you are not sure whether you can legally contribute, please contact the campaign.
