What does this mean?

Arizona residents get a dollar-for-dollar tax credit by making a contribution to a QCO.

What is an Arizona Tax Credit?

The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit gives you the unique opportunity to direct your tax dollars to local, qualifying charities and organizations (and people) that matter to YOU!

For each dollar donated, you get either:

1) a credit to reduce the taxes you owe the state, OR

2) a reimbursement to increase your AZ tax refund!

The maximum QCO donation amount for 2026 (contributions made before 4/15/2027):

• $506 single, married filing separate or head of household;
• $1,009 married filing joint.
