Medical Care and General Fund for FFFR Dogs

Please help us cover the cost of care for our dogs!
Kona came back to us when her family could no longer keep her. It was an emergency and we took her back the same day. She's an 8-year-old pit bull mix who loves people but needs to be an only pet. She's been in boarding until we can find a new family for her. The cost of her boarding is about $1,000/month.
Chip also is in a boarding situation that costs about the same as Kona's, and needs to be in a home badly.
We have expenses for food and supplies for the dogs remaining in the rescue of about $500/month, which includes food, equipment, and routine medical care.
Our medical fund is totally empty - we have no reserves in case of the inevitable emergency.
Once we can reliably cover the cost of our current dogs' care, we need to begin to to address the massive debt that has been hanging over our heads, unpaid, for the past four years. Only when we can begin to do that, will we be able to open intakes and be of some real help with the current #CrisisInCT.
Every day we receive 10-15 calls/emails/messages regarding CT dogs needing help. We do what we can as far as courtesy posting and networking with other rescues. We even screen applicants for the families. BUT it has been five years since we've been able to take even ONE dog into the rescue, and it is long past time for that to change.
The need is great and is increasing every day. We want badly to do our part, but we need your help to do that.
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, we have NO resources except for your generosity.
Please donate today! The dogs need us and we need you!
