Prop 430 - Pima Community College's bond - will modernize college facilities and support the latest technology and education in public safety, healthcare, and information technology, among many other sectors.

The bond will:

  • Construct a new state-of-the-art facility for paramedics and first responders
  • Modernize 1970s-era facilities with current technologies
  • Update labs and spaces for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math classes
  • Expand capacity to train the next generation of teachers

Additionally, by refinancing existing debt, the bond will save taxpayer dollars, freeing up nearly $4 million annually for student programs. This $250 million bond will cost the average homeowner approximately $31.00 per year, or $2.60 per month.

As PCC prepares students with the skills they need to compete in today’s economy, it also ensures that Southern Arizona’s workforce has the skills needed by the businesses that create jobs and drive prosperity.
