My journey began as a first-generation immigrant arriving in Washington as a child. That experience shaped by belief in that a healthy community is one in which all members are treated with empathy, thoughtfulness and with regard to community safety. I recognize that our court system affects people's lives and judges must be fair and accessible for all.
