Embolden was founded in July 2020 by a group of college undergraduates and recent graduates, all of whom were motivated to take initiative against the struggles that many local businesses are facing all across the country—struggles that were exacerbated by the pandemic and are particularly crippling among Black, Latinx, and Indigenous business owners. Since our inception, Embolden has grown into a diverse, dedicated group of over 80 team members from across the country who have worked with 14 inspiring BIPOC entrepreneurs.
Right now, Embolden needs your help. We’re currently in the process of raising money to provide capital funding for the incredible, innovative businesses that we work with. All of our services are completely free of charge, and every dollar we’ve raised goes directly to our businesses. We’re asking for your support because we genuinely believe in Embolden’s capacity to contribute a lasting impact to local businesses, business owners, and communities throughout the United States.
In the end, Embolden is dedicated to meaningful, positive change in the communities we can reach. But because we are fully pro-bono, our efforts rely heavily on support from generous donors. If our mission resonates with you, please consider donating to our fundraiser or circulate our organization among your networks—we would be tremendously grateful.
