The STARS Program, delivered by the non-profit Costs of Care, catalyzes grassroots, student-led initiatives to advance health care value in medical education.

Together, STARS students have led 100+ quality improvement projects, presented nationally, published peer-reviewed articles, and catalyzed major curricular innovations across the country.

In 2027, STARS will celebrate its 10th anniversary! Both students and faculty will continue to have multiple exciting opportunities to connect, collaborate, and advance value-based care education.
