Contributions to Cornwell for Congress are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. The maximum an individual may contribute is $3,300 per election. Couples may contribute $5,600 per election. Federal PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. Federal law prohibits congressional candidates from accepting corporate contributions. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors and foreign nationals without permanent residence status "green cards" are prohibited.
